Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and The Certified Method Ltd when you buy and use the course.
Last updated 6 November 2026 · The Certified Method Ltd · Company number 17303128
The short version
We sell you a 13-module course. You pay once, you get access for at least two years, and you use it for your own business. You may not share it or resell it. You can change your mind within 14 days as long as you have not started watching, and if you complete the whole course and do the work it sets, there is a full money-back guarantee on top of that. We do not promise you will make money.
That paragraph is a summary and has no legal effect. The sections below are the agreement.
Section 1Who we are, and how to reach us
The Certified Method is run by The Certified Method Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17303128, with its registered office at 14/2e Docklands Business Centre, 10-16 Tiller Road, London, E14 8PX, United Kingdom.
Everywhere below, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means the person buying or using the course. The quickest way to reach a human is info@thecertifiedmethod.com, and that is the address to use for anything in these terms, including cancelling.
Section 2These terms, and what they do
These terms are the contract between you and us. They apply from the moment you create an account or buy anything, whichever happens first. Along with the Refunds and Completion Guarantee page and the Privacy Policy, they are the whole of what we have agreed.
We ask you to tick a box confirming you have read them before you pay. Please actually read them. They are written to be read, not to be got past.
Nothing here takes away your legal rights. If any part of these terms conflicts with the rights the law gives you as a consumer, the law wins and that part does not apply.
Section 3What you are buying
The Certified Method is a self-paced online course. It is 13 modules and 99 lessons, with notes for every lesson and more than 60 downloadable resources (templates, toolkits, workbooks and worked examples), delivered through a student dashboard you log into.
Each lesson comes with written notes, an audio version, one clear action step and a short quiz. Each module has a toolkit workbook and an end-of-module assessment. You keep whatever you create as you work through it.
It is an educational product. We teach you a method and give you the materials to apply it. We do not do the work for you, we do not build your business, and buying the course is not the same as having a business.
Section 4What is not included
So there is no confusion later, the price does not cover:
- Anything you spend with anyone else. Advertising budgets, software subscriptions, domain names, hosting and freelancers are all yours to pay for, and we never refund them.
- One-to-one coaching, consultancy, account reviews or bespoke feedback on your business, unless you have bought those from us separately.
- Legal, tax, accounting, financial or regulatory advice. The course explains general principles and points you to your own country's official resources. It is education, and you should take proper advice before acting on anything that matters.
- Any guarantee about what you will earn. See section 13.
Section 5How to buy, and what it costs
There are two ways in. For the launch offer there is no application and no sales call: you create an account, you pay, and your dashboard opens with Modules 0 and 1 unlocked. The full course starts with a short application and a video call with us, so we can make sure it is right for you. After the call we email you a link to pay, and your dashboard opens with every module unlocked.
The full course is £1,899. Once you have an account, you can also buy it in parts from your dashboard: the next module, or a whole section of the course at once. Modules open in order. The price of every part is shown in your dashboard before you buy it, and you are told the total before you confirm.
The launch offer
We are currently selling Modules 0 and 1 for £37 so you can try the course before committing to all of it. This is a genuine limited-time offer and it ends on the date shown on our website. When it ends it ends: the price goes up and we will not quietly carry on selling at £37. If you are reading this after that date, the offer is over.
Prices generally
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. We may change our prices at any time, but a change never affects something you have already bought. The price you pay is the price shown at the moment you confirm.
If a price is displayed incorrectly through an obvious error, we will tell you before taking payment and you can confirm at the right price or cancel for a full refund.
Section 6The upgrade credit
If you buy part of the course and later want the rest, everything you have already paid us comes off the full course price. All of it, at any time, with no deadline.
Your dashboard shows you exactly what the upgrade costs after every purchase. There is no catch in it and nothing expires.
Two things to be clear about. The credit is not money: it only reduces the price of unlocking more of this course, it cannot be withdrawn, transferred to anyone else or exchanged for cash. And buying piece by piece costs more in total than buying the whole course at once — that is the price of being able to stop whenever you like. We show you that difference on your dashboard every time, so you can always see what the cheaper route would be.
Section 7Payment
Payments are taken through Stripe: by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Pay by Bank. Stripe handles your payment details. We never see or store your full card number or your bank login.
Everything is a single one-off payment. We do not offer instalments, finance or credit of any kind, and there is no interest anywhere in what we do. That is deliberate.
Your access is granted when the payment clears. A payment by bank can take a moment to confirm, and your access opens as soon as it does. If a payment is reversed, charged back or fails after access has been given, we may suspend your account until it is settled.
Section 8When access starts, and how long it lasts
Access starts as soon as your payment clears: before you pay, you ask us to start straight away. Your right to change your mind lasts until you start watching — see your 14-day right, which explains exactly how that works.
Access runs for as long as we operate the course, and in any event for at least 24 months from the date you buy. We expect it to be much longer, and we will give you at least 90 days' notice by email before withdrawing anything.
If we withdraw the course inside your first 24 months, we refund you a fair proportion of what you paid. After 24 months no refund is due on that account.
From time to time the dashboard will be down for maintenance or because something has broken. We will keep that as short as we can. Short interruptions are not a breach of this agreement.
Section 9Your account
Your account is personal to you. One person, one account.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your login.
- Do not share your account, sell it, or give anyone else your details.
- Tell us at info@thecertifiedmethod.com if you think someone else has got into it.
- You must be 18 or over to buy. The course is not designed or sold for children.
Section 10What you may and may not do with the material
Everything in the course — the videos, the notes, the slides, the toolkits, the swipe files, the templates — belongs to us or is licensed to us.
You may
- Watch, read and use all of it for your own learning, for as long as you have access.
- Download whatever the dashboard offers for download, and keep your own copies.
- Use the templates and toolkits in your own business, including commercially, and keep whatever you produce with them.
You may not
- Share, upload, stream, sell or give away any part of the course.
- Record, screenshot or re-upload the videos anywhere.
- Teach the course to other people, run it as your own programme, or sell it on.
- Use it to build or train an automated system or AI model.
- Get round the dashboard's access controls.
Doing any of these ends your access without a refund, and we may take it further. We mind about this because we spent a year and a great deal of money making it.
Section 11The community
If you have access to the student community, treat it as public. Other students see what you post.
- Be civil. Disagree with the point, not the person.
- No abuse, harassment, hate, or anything unlawful.
- No spam, no pitching your own offers at other students, no recruiting them.
- Do not post other people's private information, or anything of ours from section 10.
- What you share about your own business is your decision and your risk.
We may remove posts and, for serious or repeated breaches, remove community access. That does not affect your access to the course itself.
Section 12Cancelling and refunds
There are two separate routes, and they are both set out in full on the Refunds and Completion Guarantee page.
- Your legal right to change your mind. 14 days from purchase, no reason needed, as long as you have not started watching the course.
- The Completion Guarantee. Do the whole course, do the work it sets, send us the evidence, and we refund every penny you paid us.
Those are the only two refund routes we offer. Neither of them limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the course itself is faulty.
Section 13We do not guarantee an income
Our marketing talks about a business earning £10,000 a month. That is the target the course is built around and the figure the worked example runs to. It is a goal, not a prediction, and certainly not a promise about you.
What you earn depends on your market, your offer, your effort, your consistency, how much time you have, and a good deal of luck. Plenty of people buy courses and never finish them. Some finish and earn nothing. Some do very well. We have no way of knowing which you will be, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.
Nothing anywhere in our marketing, our videos or our community should be read as a forecast of your results, and nobody at The Certified Method has authority to give you one.
Section 14If something goes wrong
We will provide the course with reasonable care and skill, and the law requires the digital content we sell you to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. We do not exclude any of that, and we cannot.
We also never exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to exclude.
Beyond that: we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract. We are not responsible for business losses — lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunity, loss of goodwill — because this is a course sold to individuals, and those are risks you take in running a business rather than things we can control.
Where we are liable, our total liability is capped at the amount you actually paid us.
We are not responsible for failures caused by things genuinely outside our control.
Section 15Changes
To the course. We may improve it, re-record lessons, replace a tool with a better one, or update material that has gone out of date. We will not cut it down to materially less than you bought.
To these terms. We may change them, and the version on this page always governs. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days beforehand, and if you are not happy with it you may end this agreement and ask for a fair refund of the unused part of your access.
Section 16Ending your access
You may stop using the course at any time. Stopping does not by itself entitle you to a refund — the two refund routes in section 12 are the ways to get your money back.
We may suspend or end your access if you break section 9, 10 or 11, if a payment is reversed, or if you give us false evidence in a guarantee claim. Where it is fair to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we end your access for one of those reasons, no refund is due.
Section 17Complaints
Email info@thecertifiedmethod.com and tell us what has gone wrong. We will acknowledge it within 5 working days and give you a proper answer within 20.
If we cannot sort it out between us, you can use the consumer advice services available where you live. Nothing in these terms stops you going to court.
Section 18Law and where disputes are heard
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you live elsewhere, you keep the consumer protections of your own country, and you may be able to bring a claim there. Nothing here takes that away.
This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
